Previously a NPLQ lifeguard before starting her Water sports career, she is a Paddle UK Touring Coach, Foundation Safety Rescue Trainer, Dinghy Instructor, Climbing Instructor, level 2 Dragon Boat Coach and Swim England Swim teacher.

She currently sits on the Paddle UK Touring technical team to advise on safety and award content and was water safety team leader for the 2019 Slalom World Cup held at Lee Valley White Water Centre.
