About the Role
With our lake manager overseeing all training, a typical day will include a variety of activities including; assisting lifeguards, assisting our coaches in running a variety of paddlesports sessions and even a bit of site maintenance.
On successful application, you will be invited down to meet the team and be shown around the lake. We will also show you some of the activities.
Thinking why should I volunteer? As a way of thanks for all the agreed hours you put in to our company, in return we help you to become a fully qualified RLSS Open water lifeguard AND a British Canoeing Instructor! Once qualified and 16 years of age we may be able to offer you a paid job on the team.
There are no hidden fees or costs, we apply for funding from specific bodies to provide this programme. All certificate, registration and qualification fees will be covered.
The only costs to the young people will be any food/drink/snacks they bring with them for their days at the lake, as well as any memberships to the national governing bodies.
