With direct lake access, you will have the opportunity to swim on arrival, before, during (if you wish) and after dinner as we order from Bwyd Gwynant on the campsite (MENU). For the evening we will be getting ready for the welcome brief and you will have free time to sit by the fire, socialise with each other, or just go to bed and recharge for the next day!
On the Saturday morning after a continental breakfast, (and a sunrise swim for those who are eager). we will be heading out for our first big swim at Llyn Padarn. This is one of the largest natural lakes in Wales. You will have the choice to swim 1.5km or 3km (accompanied by our qualified team). Once back at the start we will stop for a picnic lunch (Included), with sandwiches, Salads and accompaniments. we will also give you some time to dip in the beach area or swimming in the linking pools between the trees. In the afternoon we will walk towards a lovely sunset waterfall dip where you will be able to enjoy being in the waterfall in the beautiful mountain hillside. For the evening we will put on an evening meal, cooked by the campfire. After, you will have free time to sit by the fire, socialise with each other, have an evening swim or just go to bed and recharge for the next day!
On the Sunday morning after another sunrise swim opportunity and continental breakfast we will be heading off for the last swim spot of the trip. Once at Llyn Tegid, this is the largest natural lake in Wales with it being over 3 1/2 miles long and 3/4 of a mile wide, with depths reaching 140ft in places (not where we are swimming), there is an ample amount of accessible spots for getting in for a swim along the well defined shore line.
