Introduction

PTP Coaching Limited, as a watersports company, understands the importance of protecting the natural environment in which we operate. We are committed to reducing our environmental impact both on and off the water. Our dedication to environmental sustainability goes beyond legal obligations, and we strive to continuously improve our practices in harmony with nature. We encourage our customers, suppliers, and stakeholders to adopt environmentally responsible behaviors alongside us.

Responsibility

Thomas Philbey, Company Director, is responsible for overseeing the implementation of this environmental policy. However, all staff members, instructors, and partners play a vital role in ensuring that the policy’s goals are met, both in the office and out in our watersports operations.

Policy Aims

Our environmental objectives are to:

  • Comply with all relevant environmental regulations and water use policies.

  • Continuously monitor and improve environmental performance in our business activities.

  • Minimise our environmental footprint, particularly within the waters we use for activities.

Paper and Office Supplies

We will:

  • Minimise the use of paper in our office and at our watersports locations.

  • Reduce unnecessary packaging, particularly for water-related equipment.

  • Reuse and recycle office supplies and equipment to reduce waste.

Energy and Water Conservation

We aim to:

  • Minimise energy usage at our watersports centers and during operations.

  • Ensure lights and electrical equipment are turned off when not in use.

  • Use water responsibly, particularly during watersports operations and maintenance tasks.

  • Invest in energy-efficient equipment and appliances, considering their environmental impact when purchasing.

Equipment and Resources

We will:

  • Regularly maintain our watersports equipment to extend its lifespan and reduce waste.

  • Dispose of any unusable equipment through environmentally responsible methods.

  • Prioritise the purchase of sustainable, eco-friendly equipment when upgrading or adding to our resources.

Transportation

We are committed to:

  • Minimising unnecessary vehicle travel and opting for eco-friendly transport options whenever possible.

  • Encouraging customers and staff to use sustainable transportation to access our sites, such as cycling, carpooling, or using public transport.

  • Regularly maintaining our vehicles and watercraft to ensure they are as fuel-efficient as possible and minimise emissions.

Watersport Activities and the Environment

Our focus includes:
